PFS Bancorp, Inc. functions as the holding company for Peru Federal Savings Bank, a federally chartered mutual savings institution. This entity delivers a broad array of banking and financial solutions to individual consumers and corporate clients across the United States. Its deposit products include various account types such as checking, savings, individual retirement accounts (IRAs), and certificates of deposit (CDs). Additionally, it offers non-interest-bearing demand accounts, NOW savings accounts, money market accounts, and time deposits. Regarding lending, the bank provides diverse credit facilities, encompassing one-to-four family residential mortgages, multi-family and commercial real estate loans, agricultural real estate financing, and construction and land development loans. It further extends commercial and consumer loans, along with home equity loans and lines of credit. Beyond these core services, the company facilitates electronic banking through mobile and online platforms, bill payment features, and electronic funds transfers via Zelle. The institution also allocates capital to securities investments. PFS Bancorp, Inc. was established in 1887 and its main operations are based in Peru, Illinois.
