Who builds it

I am Javier Bernal-Polo and I built Bernal FinTech alone: the data pipeline, the database, the statistical models, the charts and the software that holds it together.

My training sits between two worlds that almost never meet. I studied Wirtschaftsinformatik — business informatics — with a specialisation in IT controlling at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, and spent several years in Germany as a digital analyst at Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and as a developer, before founding Bernal FinTech SL in 2022. On the finance side I am taking the Master’s in Advanced Finance at Universidad Nebrija and preparing the CEFA certificate from IEAF/EFFAS.

That mix is why this platform exists. Financial analysis tools are usually built by engineers who outsource the finance, or by analysts who outsource the engineering. I do both, which is why the probabilistic layer is a core part of the product and not a marketing bullet.

I work in Spanish, German and English, from Murcia.

Project work

Besides the subscriptions, Bernal FinTech SL takes on commissioned work.

Financial data engineering.

Ingestion pipelines, a data store and a reporting layer for organisations that have the data and cannot actually use it. It is exactly what I do for my own platform, including the part almost nobody does: checking that the numbers that come out are right.

Economic and financial reports.

Bespoke analysis for family offices, boards and finance teams. Company and sector studies, valuation work, or a quantitative reading of the risk in an existing portfolio.
