Additionally, the company makes strategic investments in securities, primarily consisting of obligations issued by the U.S. government and federal agencies, mortgage-backed instruments, and corporate bonds. It conducts its operations through two full-service banking branches located in Everett and Lynnfield, Massachusetts. The company was founded in 1890 and maintains its headquarters in Everett, Massachusetts.
