Banese also manages substantial development and real estate investment portfolios. Customers can access their services conveniently through internet and mobile banking platforms. The bank maintains a physical presence with a network of 63 branches and 89 Banese-branded automated teller machines (ATMs) that feature banknote recycling capabilities. Established in 1961, the institution was initially known as Banco de Fomento Budget before officially adopting its current name, Banco do Estado de Sergipe S.A., in 1967. Its headquarters are located in Aracaju, Brazil.
