BSP Financial Group Limited, established in 1957 and headquartered in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, offers a comprehensive range of commercial banking and financial solutions. The group serves both individual consumers and corporate entities across a wide geographic footprint, encompassing Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Fiji, the Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Cambodia, and Laos. Its diverse offerings include various account types such as transaction, savings, solicitor's trust, foreign currency, and business cheque accounts, alongside fixed-term deposits. For lending, BSP provides a range of options: personal, home, personal asset, bridging, customized business, commercial and residential property investment, construction development, and seasonal finance loans, in addition to dedicated small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) loans. The company also issues debit cards and offers a suite of supplementary services like overdraft facilities, asset financing, insurance premium funding, expedited loan processing, safety deposit box rentals, and comprehensive electronic and online banking platforms for businesses. International trade and currency requirements are met through services such as foreign exchange payments, currency note provision, tax clearance assistance, documentary collection, trade refinancing, and letters of credit. Additionally, BSP manages fund management and life insurance operations. The organization, founded as Bank of South Pacific Limited, officially changed its name to BSP Financial Group Limited in March 2021.
