The company specializes in a broad range of systems, including railway signaling and communications-based train control, traffic information and management, automatic fare collection (AFC), parking information, and advanced Visionary Business Center (VBC) solutions. Their railway signaling systems encompass full operational control and automatic train protection, supported by essential components such as interlocking systems for managing point machines and signal lights, track circuits, level crossing equipment, brake shoes, and LED information displays. For traffic management, Nippon Signal delivers intelligent solutions like universal traffic management systems, local controllers, various LED signal lights for both vehicular and pedestrian use, image-based pedestrian detection devices, and service area information boards. Their automatic fare collection (AFC) systems offer a comprehensive suite of tools, including station platform safety sensors, platform screen doors, passenger support robots, automated passenger gates, ticket vending and fare adjustment machines, alongside security and explosive detection gates. Parking information systems provided by the company range from real-time availability lights and vehicle body detection sensors to local and supervisory control equipment, exit caution lights, complete entry/exit gate management, fee collection, and bicycle locking mechanisms. Additionally, their Visionary Business Center (VBC) products feature advanced sensing technologies, including 3D laser ranging image sensors and ground penetrating radars.
