Description

Headquartered in Ludhiana, India, and established in 1965, Vardhman Textiles Limited is a diversified manufacturer and global supplier of textile, fiber, and steel products. Its extensive market reach encompasses India, other Asian countries, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. The company's comprehensive textile portfolio includes yarns, fabrics, fibers, threads, and finished garments. It specializes in a broad range of greige and dyed yarns, available in cotton, polyester, acrylic, and various blended compositions. Additionally, Vardhman offers a selection of premium, value-added yarns such as organic cotton, melange, core-spun, ultra yarns, gassed mercerized, super fine, slub, cellulose, and decorative fancy yarns, including those suitable for hand knitting. Beyond its core textile operations, Vardhman Textiles Limited also engages in financial services through lending and investment activities. Furthermore, it operates a steel manufacturing division, producing hot rolled bars, special, and alloy steels essential for the automotive, engineering, bearing, and related industrial sectors. The company was formerly known as Mahavir Spinning Mills Limited before officially changing its name to Vardhman Textiles Limited in September 2006.
