Description

Valeo SE is a global automotive supplier, headquartered in Paris, France, that designs, manufactures, and distributes components, integrated systems, and services for car manufacturers worldwide. Its extensive reach spans France, other European nations, Africa, North and South America, and Asia. The company's operations are organized into four key business groups: Comfort & Driving Assistance Systems, Powertrain Systems, Thermal Systems, and Visibility Systems. Within Comfort & Driving Assistance Systems, Valeo develops intelligent vehicle technologies. These include sophisticated parking and driving aids utilizing ultrasonic sensors, radars, and cameras for environmental detection, intuitive control interfaces, and a spectrum of connectivity solutions from short to long range. This segment also enables advanced functionalities such as car-sharing and remote parking applications. The Powertrain Systems division focuses on propulsion innovation, providing electric powertrain components for electric vehicles, and transmission automation parts like torque converters, dual dry and wet clutches, and actuators that enhance fuel efficiency and driving comfort. It also offers advanced engine technologies. Thermal Systems are dedicated to optimizing vehicle temperature management and cabin climate control. This includes designing and producing comprehensive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and associated modules and components to ensure passenger comfort. The Visibility Systems group is responsible for essential driver safety, developing and manufacturing advanced lighting and wiper systems to ensure clear vision in various weather conditions. Additionally, Valeo supplies original equipment spares directly to automotive manufacturers and offers a wide array of replacement parts and accessories to the independent aftermarket for both passenger and commercial vehicles. The company was founded in 1923.
