Description

NHK Spring Co., Ltd., a global enterprise established in 1936 and headquartered in Yokohama, Japan, specializes in manufacturing and supplying a diverse array of products for the automotive, data communications, industrial, and lifestyle sectors. The company's operations are structured into four primary segments: Automotive Suspension Springs; Automotive Seating; Precision Springs and Components; and Industrial Machinery and Equipment, and Others. Within the Automotive Suspension Springs division, NHK Spring produces critical vehicle components such as coil springs, stabilizers, torsion bars, stabilinkers, and leaf springs. This segment also delivers powertrain, braking, and exhaust system elements, including various valve springs, disc, wire, and wave springs designed for gearboxes, injector springs, and a comprehensive selection of specialized thin plate, disc, and wire spring products. The Automotive Seating segment crafts advanced seating solutions, including sports seats, suspension seats, fatigue-reducing seats, and single-motor power seats. Additionally, it supplies polyurethane foams, fastening screws and bolts, control cables, door sunshades, tonneau covers, mechanical seating parts, and trim components. Its Precision Springs and Components offerings extend to motorcycle chain tensioners, motor cores, spring grid arrays, ceramic springs, and metal substrate products. This segment is also a key supplier of HDD (hard disk drive) components, providing suspensions, top covers, disk clamps, base plates, and dummy heads. For data communications and semiconductor devices, the company offers sophisticated items like test sockets, probe cards, precision wire springs, lock hinges, bonded metal products, aluminum cooling plates, and shower heads, alongside general electrical products and microcontactor solutions. Finally, the Industrial Machinery and Equipment, and Others segment encompasses a broad spectrum of products for various industries and daily life. This includes solutions for industrial plants, spring mechanisms, chemical applications, multi-story parking systems, security systems, electronic components, railway and maritime sectors, and sports-related goods, in addition to offering diverse testing and design services.
