Tantech Holdings Ltd (TANH), a diversified enterprise established in 2001 and headquartered in Lishui, People's Republic of China, primarily operates through two distinct divisions: Consumer Products and Electric Vehicle. Within its Consumer Products segment, Tantech specializes in the development and manufacture of charcoal derived from bamboo. These offerings cater to a wide array of applications, including industrial energy production, domestic cooking and heating, purification, agricultural uses, and various cleaning tasks, with distribution spanning both China and international markets. The "Algold" brand encompasses pressed and molded charcoal briquettes suitable for grilling, incense burning, and other purposes. Meanwhile, its "Charcoal Doctor" line presents an extensive selection of goods, such as air purifiers and humidifiers, automotive accessories designed for air purification, underfloor humidity control systems, bedding items like pillows and mattresses, wardrobe deodorizers, mouse pads and wrist rests, refrigerator fresheners, charcoal-based toilet cleaning disks, liquid charcoal cleaners, shoe inserts, and decorative charcoal gifts. Furthermore, the company processes bamboo vinegar, a liquid byproduct that serves as an ingredient in disinfectants, detergents, lotions, specialized soaps, toilet cleansers, fertilizers, and various agricultural applications. Tantech is also involved in the trading of charcoal products. The Electric Vehicle division focuses on the engineering, production, and sale of a variety of electric vehicles. This portfolio includes electric buses, electric logistics vehicles, and a range of specialized electric transport solutions, such as brushless and standard cleaning vehicles, emergency response vehicles, and funeral coaches. Complementing these vehicles, Tantech also supplies essential components like solar cells, lithium-ion batteries, automotive parts, and sophisticated electric control systems. Beyond these core areas, the company maintains a presence in the supply chain sector.
