The general merchandise selection is extensive, featuring groceries (food, beverages, and fresh produce), infant and maternity supplies, home furnishings, beauty and personal care items, pharmaceuticals, books, automotive accessories, clothing, footwear, bags, and jewelry. Beyond direct retail, the company also provides an online marketplace for independent merchants, offers marketing support, and implements integrated online-to-offline (omni-channel) solutions for both its clientele and traditional retailers. Furthermore, JD.com extends its services into digital healthcare. A significant aspect of its operations involves developing, owning, and managing its own advanced logistics infrastructure and associated real estate. These facilities not only serve the company's needs but also support third-party businesses, and JD.com offers asset management services to investors in the logistics property sector. Additionally, the company provides holistic industry solutions that integrate data, technology, business processes, and user management, designed to facilitate the digital transformation of various enterprises and institutions. Established in 2006, the organization was initially known as 360buy Jingdong Inc. before officially rebranding to JD.com, Inc. in January 2014. Its principal executive offices are situated in Beijing, People's Republic of China.
