Their foundational technology relies on hydrogen and direct methanol fuel cells, with operations structured into Clean Energy and Clean Power Management divisions. The company's extensive product line addresses a wide range of power requirements. For higher power demands, they offer EFOY Hydrogen 2.5 fuel cells. The EFOY Pro series provides on-board power for vehicles and reliable off-grid energy for remote applications like monitoring stations, measuring equipment, and oil and gas operations. Standard EFOY fuel cells are designed to automatically recharge batteries. For military and security needs, SFC supplies specialized units such as SFC EMILY, along with the portable SFC JENNY fuel cell for field deployment. Additionally, the SFC Power Manager 3G serves as a versatile portable power distributor and battery charger, allowing military personnel to leverage various energy sources—including hybrid batteries, solar panels, vehicle power, and fuel cells—to energize devices or recharge batteries. Beyond individual fuel cell units, SFC Energy provides integrated off-grid energy solutions such as the mobile and maintenance-free EFOY ProCube, the weather-resilient EFOY ProEnergyBox, the portable and grid-independent EFOY ProEnergyCase, the insulated outdoor EFOY ProCabinet for remote power, and the trailer-mounted EFOY ProTrailer. Their offerings also encompass drives and motor solutions, SCADA and telemetry systems, as well as coils and linear drives. Furthermore, the company supplies essential accessories and spare parts, including fuel cartridges, along with various mechanical, electronic, and electrical instruments vital for overseeing production and logistics workflows. The company, originally known as SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG, rebranded to SFC Energy AG in July 2010.
