Established in 1919 and headquartered in Takatsuki, Japan, Torishima Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd. operates globally as a manufacturer and supplier of diverse pumping equipment. The company produces a comprehensive array of pumps, including end-suction, double-suction, multi-stage, and specialized large-scale units, in addition to mechanical seals such as cartridge and split designs. Torishima offers an extensive suite of services covering the full lifecycle of pumping systems. These encompass installation, field testing, routine maintenance, overhauls, and operator training. They also provide facility management, re-engineering, design enhancements, hydraulic component upgrades, and protective coating applications. Furthermore, the company undertakes turnkey pumping station projects, handling everything from design and engineering to procurement, construction, and commissioning. Demonstrating a focus on renewable energy, Torishima delivers engineering solutions for wind power generation systems, performs wind assessment and site surveys (including business plan development, design, installation, and maintenance consultation), and offers support for wind power facilities installed by other firms. Their initiatives also extend to reusing wastewater energy and developing mini/micro hydropower systems. Their advanced pumping solutions are utilized across various vital industries worldwide, including water and wastewater management, irrigation and drainage, power generation, general manufacturing, oil and gas, and seawater desalination.
