About this ETF
The VanEck European Equal Weight Screened UCITS ETF targets a selection of 100 prominent, highly liquid, and substantially capitalized (free float) enterprises operating in developed European economies. A key criterion for inclusion is their compliance with the UN Global Compact Principles, which promote ethical corporate practices. Additionally, the fund applies rigorous exclusionary screens, avoiding sectors deemed inconsistent with responsible business conduct. These restricted industries include alcohol production, animal testing, military contracting, weapons manufacturing, gambling, adult entertainment, tobacco, nuclear power generation, oil sands extraction, and thermal coal mining.
