Description

Nokia Oyj, a global technology leader founded in 1865 and headquartered in Espoo, Finland, delivers a comprehensive suite of mobile, fixed, and cloud-based network solutions worldwide. The company structures its operations across four primary divisions: Mobile Networks, Network Infrastructure, Cloud and Network Services, and Nokia Technologies. Nokia's offerings span numerous critical areas. Its Mobile Networks segment supplies radio access networks capable of supporting technologies from 2G to 5G, alongside microwave radio links for robust transport infrastructure. The Network Infrastructure division provides fixed networking solutions, including fiber and copper-based access, a range of cloud and virtualization services, and Wi-Fi products such as mesh systems and cloud-managed controllers. This segment also specializes in IP routing solutions for aggregation, edge, and core applications catering to residential, business, mobile, and industrial clients, as well as an advanced portfolio of optical networks. These optical solutions feature coherent transponders, optical transport network switchers, wavelength-division multiplexers (WDM), reconfigurable optical add-drop multiplexer (ROADM) solutions, and various optical line systems designed for metro access, data center interconnect, regional, and long-haul/ultra-long-haul applications, complemented by submarine network capabilities. Additionally, through its Cloud and Network Services arm, Nokia develops business applications software, provides cloud and cognitive services, offers core networks software, and delivers tailored enterprise solutions. The Nokia Technologies division focuses on hardware, software, and services, in addition to licensing its extensive intellectual property, which includes patents, proprietary technologies, and the iconic Nokia brand. The company's diverse clientele includes communication service providers, webscale companies, hyperscalers, digital industries, and government organizations.
