Established in 1978 in Mumbai, India, Mukta Arts Limited is a comprehensive entertainment company with core activities spanning film production, distribution, and exhibition. The company's operations are divided into five distinct business units. Its Software Division focuses on creating and disseminating cinematic and television content, handling both production and co-production projects, offering related services, and acquiring intellectual property rights for movies for both domestic and international markets. The Equipment Division provides rental services for various production gear to external production houses and independent filmmakers. Through its Education segment, the company operates an institute dedicated to training, research, and education in diverse film, television, and broader media industry skills. The Theatrical Exhibition Division oversees cinema operations, including the sale of tickets, food and beverage concessions, and offering advertising space within its venues, alongside other related services. The final segment, Others, manages various facility rental services.
