Description

GSK plc, a global healthcare and pharmaceutical leader with roots tracing back to 1715, is headquartered in Brentford, United Kingdom. Operating extensively across the UK, United States, and other international markets, its activities span the entire lifecycle of healthcare products, encompassing research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization. Its broad portfolio includes pharmaceuticals, vaccines, over-the-counter medications, and a range of health-focused consumer products. The company operates through four primary divisions: Pharmaceuticals, Pharmaceutical Research & Development, Vaccines, and Consumer Healthcare. Within its pharmaceutical arm, GSK provides therapeutic solutions for a broad spectrum of conditions. These include ailments in respiratory health, HIV, immuno-inflammation, oncology, viral infections, central nervous system disorders, cardiovascular and urogenital issues, metabolic diseases, bacterial infections, and dermatology. The consumer healthcare division delivers products across wellness, oral health, nutrition, and skin health categories. These are available in numerous formats, including nasal sprays, tablets, syrups, lozenges, gum and transdermal patches, caplets, infant syrup drops, liquid suspensions, wipes, gels, effervescents, toothpastes, toothbrushes, mouthwashes, denture adhesives and cleansers, topical creams, non-medicated patches, lip balms, gummies, and soft chews. GSK also maintains collaborative agreements with various organizations such as 23andMe, Lyell Immunopharma, Inc., Novartis, Sanofi SA, Surface Oncology, Progentec Diagnostics, Inc., Alector, Inc., and CureVac AG. Furthermore, strategic partnerships are in place with IDEAYA Biosciences, Inc. and Vir Biotechnology, Inc. The firm, known as GlaxoSmithKline plc until its name change to GSK plc in May 2022, embodies centuries of innovation in healthcare.
