Japan Securities Finance Co., Ltd. (JSF), together with its subsidiaries, operates as a diversified financial services entity across Japan. Its primary business lines include securities financing, trust banking, and real estate activities. Within securities finance, JSF provides a broad array of lending solutions. These encompass funds and stock loans specifically for margin transactions, as well as general stock lending designed to facilitate the settlement of trades. The company also acts as an intermediary in the bond market, connecting borrowers with lenders. Additionally, it extends credit for the settlement of negotiable margin transactions, finances bond underwriting and trading, and offers general working capital loans to brokerage firms. Individual and corporate investors can access various secured loans backed by securities, such as the COM-STOCK, business, and safe-keeping deposited loan products. Beyond direct lending, JSF delivers essential supporting services, including custodial services for institutional investors' securities and managing principal and interest repayments for government bonds. The company also offers comprehensive securities trust and banking services. Furthermore, its real estate division is engaged in property ownership, leasing, trading, and brokerage. Founded in 1927 under the name Tokyo Securities Co., Ltd., the company officially adopted Japan Securities Finance Co., Ltd. in December 1949 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
