This segment designs and fabricates small satellites for both low Earth orbit and geostationary positions, utilized for applications like navigation, research, communication, Earth and meteorological observation, and reconnaissance, often incorporating scientific payloads. Additionally, it undertakes projects involving the construction and equipping of the International Space Station. The unit also prepares studies and prototypes for solar system exploration, encompassing bodies such as the Moon, asteroids, and Mars. The Aerospace segment focuses on the assembly and evolution of aeronautical and space products, as well as other industrial activities. Conversely, the Digital segment supplies mechatronic systems for antenna and telescope applications, engages in various radio telescope endeavors, oversees space-based systems, creates digital applications derived from satellite data, and provides expertise in information technology and cybersecurity. The company's headquarters are located in Bremen, Germany.
