Bisphenol-A is provided for the synthesis of polycarbonate, brominated flame retardants, polymer stabilizers, and a range of resins, including epoxide, polysulfone, polyarylate, special phenolic, polyester imide, and unsaturated ester varieties. Kazanorgsintez's polycarbonates find application in demanding products such as automotive headlamps, optical lenses, compact discs, helmets, and blood filters, as well as in high-precision components like pinions and bushings. They also produce polycarbonate sheets, ideal for multi-layer glazing in architectural projects, sports facilities, and agricultural greenhouses. Additionally, the company produces foundational petrochemicals: ethylene, which acts as a primary feedstock for propylene and ethylene oxide; and propylene, which is subsequently used in the production of polypropylene, phenol, acetone, and propylene oxide. Their portfolio extends to ethylene oxide derivatives, vital for crude oil preparation, including corrosion and paraffin inhibitors, proxanols, proxamines, and demulsifiers.
