As of December 31, 2021, CYH's holdings included 83 hospitals, either owned or leased. This total comprised 81 general acute care facilities and two specialized stand-alone rehabilitation or psychiatric hospitals, collectively providing a capacity of 13,289 licensed patient beds. The company was established in 1985 and its corporate headquarters are situated in Franklin, Tennessee.
