Description
Casino, Guichard-Perrachon S.A. is a prominent food retail group, conducting its operations both within France and across various international markets. Its extensive retail footprint encompasses a diverse range of formats, including large-scale hypermarkets, traditional supermarkets, dedicated shopping centers, and online platforms. Additionally, it runs convenience stores, discount outlets, and cash & carry establishments. The company further supplements its offerings with its own branded (private label) goods. Beyond retail, its diversified business portfolio extends to banking services, digital marketing and advertising, petrol stations, and restaurant operations. It also engages in franchising, real estate activities such as asset management, property development, trading, and rentals, and participates in the energy sector. Globally, the group manages a network of 10,800 stores. Established in 1898, the company maintains its headquarters in Saint-Étienne, France.
