Description

Koatsu Gas Kogyo Co., Ltd., encompassing its subsidiary operations, is a key player in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial gases and various chemical products, serving markets both domestically in Japan and internationally. Its extensive gas portfolio includes dissolved acetylene, which is vital for applications like welding, cutting, heating, demolding glass and copper wire, pharmaceutical synthesis, and as a carbon raw material. The company also supplies specialized laser and mixed gases, indispensable for advanced processes such as laser processing, precision welding, sterilization, biotechnology, and food product applications. Additionally, Koatsu Gas Kogyo provides separated gases crucial for analytical instruments used in measuring air pollutants, automobile exhaust, and flue gas concentrations, as well as for calibrating gas detectors. Fuel sources like LP gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) are offered for heating and cutting. Its gas-related offerings further extend to agricultural carbon dioxide, gas cylinders, and comprehensive safety systems. In its chemical division, the company produces a range of adhesives for both consumer and industrial use. A notable product is PEGAR, a versatile synthetic resin emulsion integral to the formulation of various adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, paint binders, and as an additive in construction materials. Beyond gases and chemicals, Koatsu Gas Kogyo innovates with RF tag devices and integrated application systems, enabling efficient management solutions for railway equipment, high-pressure gas cylinders, and production lines. The company also provides LSI cards, their associated reader writers, and GNSS receiver modules. Established in 1958, Koatsu Gas Kogyo Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
