Its extensive agrochemical portfolio includes solutions like fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and herbicides. Beyond agrochemicals, the firm supplies a broad array of specialty organic chemicals, featuring titanates, magnesium ethylate, o-tolidine diisocyanate, various adhesive agents, photoresist base resins, thermal paper developers, epoxy catalysts, permethyl polysilane, crown ethers, and photocatalysts. It also produces bactericides, algaecides, wood fungicides, insecticides, termiticides, and liquid-1,2-polybutadiene. Furthermore, Nippon Soda offers pharmaceutical excipients such as diaminomaleonitrile, sodium stearyl fumarate, and hydroxypropyl cellulose. Its eco-friendly and consumer chemical offerings encompass inorganic chlorine tablets and granules, toilet scale removers, heavy metal chelating agents, and PCB treatment systems. The company's chlor-alkali chemical segment includes caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, liquid chlorine, potassium cyanide, sodium hypochlorite, sodium metal, sodium alcoholates, sodium cyanide, phosphorus oxychloride, and phosphorus trichloride. Other product categories comprise functional materials, synthetic resins and plastics, dyes, industrial equipment, construction materials, pharmaceutical products, molded resin items, and agents for smoking, deoxygenation, and dehumidification. It also deals in general industrial chemicals, household products, agricultural supplies, and feed additives. Beyond manufacturing, Nippon Soda provides diverse services such as warehousing, packaging, customs brokerage, and insurance agency operations. Its logistics arm handles freight forwarding and truck transportation. The company is additionally involved in plant construction, civil engineering, soil and rock mining, and the production and sale of non-ferrous metals and concrete goods. Established in 1920, Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. maintains its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
