Description

Ho Tung Chemical Corp., established in New Taipei City, Taiwan, in 1980, operates as a comprehensive chemical enterprise. The company specializes in the research, production, marketing, and global distribution of a diverse array of chemical products, with a significant presence across Taiwan, China, Southeast Asia, and other international markets. Its core product portfolio encompasses a wide range of specialty chemicals. Key offerings include normal paraffin and various types of surfactants essential for industries like detergents and personal care. Specifically, it manufactures anionic surfactants such as linear alkylbenzene sulphonic acid (LABSA) and alcohol ether sulfates (e.g., sodium laureth sulphate); cationic surfactants like palmityl tri-methyl ammonium chloride, stearyl tri-methyl ammonium chloride, and alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride; and non-ionic surfactants, including fatty alcohols, fatty alcohol ethoxylates, and coconut diethanol amide. Additionally, the company produces amphoteric surfactants such as cocamidopropyl betaine and dodecyl dimethyl betaine. Ho Tung also supplies de-aromatic solvents, which find application in diverse sectors including paints, coatings, consumer products, printing inks, and agricultural chemicals. Beyond its primary chemical manufacturing, Ho Tung diversifies its operations through various ventures. These include the trading and wholesale of oil, fuels, and other general commodities; the leasing of oil storage facilities; and the production and sale of cement, cement raw materials, and PMMA light guide plates. The company is also involved in the development of new energy solutions and advanced surfactants, alongside general investment activities.
