Wesfarmers Limited is a diversified conglomerate operating retail and industrial businesses across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and globally. Its extensive retail footprint includes Bunnings, offering building materials, home and garden improvements, and outdoor living essentials. The company also retails apparel and general merchandise, such as toys, leisure items, entertainment products, home goods, and consumables. Through its 168 Officeworks locations, it supplies office products and solutions, spanning stationery, technology, furniture, art supplies, and educational resources, complemented by print, creation, and technical support services. These technical services also encompass hardware and software repairs, system security, networking solutions, virus prevention and removal, and data backup and recovery. Beyond retail, Wesfarmers is a significant player in the chemicals and industrial sector. It manufactures and supplies a range of industrial chemicals, including ammonia, ammonium nitrate, and sodium cyanide, along with polyvinyl chloride resins and wood-plastic composite products. The company also handles the import and distribution of various fertilizers, specifically those based on phosphate, nitrogen, and potassium. Additionally, it is involved in the production and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Its industrial services division supplies and distributes maintenance, repair, and operating products, as well as industrial safety solutions. This includes manufacturing and marketing industrial, medical, and specialty gases; providing tools, safety gear, personal protective equipment (PPE), electrical components, workwear, and general industrial supplies. Furthermore, the company offers risk management, compliance services, specialized footwear, uniforms, engineering supplies, and packaging solutions. In the health and wellness sector, Wesfarmers provides a variety of health, beauty, and wellbeing products, alongside clinical cosmetic and skincare treatments. It also facilitates retail support services, distributes pharmaceutical goods, and manages an online marketplace and data-sharing platform. Wesfarmers Limited was established in 1914 and is headquartered in Perth, Australia.
