Description

Founded in 1936 and headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, Vaisala Oyj is a global leader in measurement technologies for both industrial and environmental applications. The company maintains an extensive international presence, operating across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, and the Asia Pacific region. Vaisala's diverse product range encompasses industrial measurement solutions such as HVAC and indoor air meters, specialized transmitters, power transformer monitoring systems, probes, OEM modules, handheld devices, in-line process refractometers, and systems for biogas and liquid measurement, including the ViewLinc continuous monitoring platform. For weather and environmental observations, their offerings include automatic weather stations, radiosondes and sounding systems, weather radars, wind lidars, and a comprehensive selection of sensors for visibility, present weather, cloud height (ceilometers), lightning detection, air quality, road conditions, and fundamental atmospheric variables like pressure, temperature, and humidity. In addition to products, Vaisala provides a full spectrum of services, such as maintenance, calibration, repair, system modernization, extended warranties, and data-driven solutions, with products also available through their online store. The company serves a wide variety of industrial customers, including data centers, chemical and allied product manufacturers, fuel cell developers, power transformers, semiconductor fabrication, the automotive sector, cleanrooms, HVAC and indoor air management, warehousing, battery manufacturing, compressed air systems, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, sugar and sweetener production, biogas facilities, research institutions, metrology, pulp, paper, wood processing, food, beverages, agriculture, oil and gas refineries, and petrochemicals. Moreover, Vaisala's solutions are vital for weather-dependent markets like meteorology, ground transportation, aviation, maritime industries, renewable and wind energy, and urban weather and environmental management.
