Its clientele spans individual patients, healthcare providers, delivery systems, employers, insurance payers, and government bodies. Optum Insight serves the healthcare industry with analytical and technological solutions. It provides cutting-edge software, valuable information products, strategic advisory consulting, and outsourced managed services. Its clients include hospital networks, medical professionals, health insurers, governmental organizations, biotechnology firms, and other related enterprises. Optum Rx manages pharmacy benefit services, encompassing a wide range of offerings. These include establishing retail pharmacy networks, offering convenient home delivery and specialized pharmacy options, infusion services, and leveraging strong purchasing power with advanced clinical expertise. Furthermore, this segment develops and implements critical programs in areas such as step therapy, formulary management, medication adherence, and disease-specific drug therapy management.
