Symrise AG is a German-based specialist in providing a comprehensive array of ingredients, encompassing fragrances, flavor compounds, active cosmetic components, and functional raw materials. Its operations are structured into two principal divisions: Taste, Nutrition & Health, and Scent & Care. The 'Taste, Nutrition & Health' division focuses on delivering flavor solutions and functional ingredients for the food and beverage industry, along with savory flavorings. It supplies natural and sustainable ingredients for diverse applications such as baby food and dietary supplements. This segment also extends its offerings to specialized product solutions and services for pet food and aqua feed manufacturers, in addition to providing probiotics for use in food supplements and functional foods. Conversely, the 'Scent & Care' segment is dedicated to the development, production, and sale of fragrance components, aroma molecules, cosmetic ingredients, and mint flavors, including their specific application technologies. Products from this segment are integral to a wide range of consumer goods, serving manufacturers of perfumes, personal care items, cosmetics, cleaning products, detergents, air fresheners, and oral hygiene products. Symrise AG maintains a broad international presence, conducting business across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. The company was established in 1874 and has its headquarters in Holzminden, Germany.
