Description

Lighting Science Group Corporation (LSCG) is dedicated to the design, development, and sale of advanced general illumination products, primarily utilizing light-emitting diode (LED) technology. Its primary clientele includes retailers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across the United States. The company's product portfolio includes a diverse array of LED retrofit lamps specifically engineered to upgrade existing light fixtures, serving as energy-efficient replacements for conventional incandescent, compact fluorescent (CFL), and halogen bulbs. Additionally, LSCG manufactures various LED luminaires, such as the innovative FreeLED system, which functions as a solar-powered solution for street lighting. Beyond general illumination, LSCG is also a provider of specialized biological lighting solutions. These offerings encompass circadian-friendly products like the Good Night and Good Day replacement lamps, agricultural grow lights such as VividGro and MyNature Grow lamps (including high bay luminaires), and MyNature Coastal lamps designed for outdoor applications. The company caters to a broad spectrum of markets, including residential and commercial offices, retail and hospitality venues, governmental and private infrastructure projects, and educational institutions (schools and universities). It reaches these clients through a multi-faceted distribution strategy, employing branded and co-branded private label programs, its own direct sales team, a network of distributors, and independent sales representatives. Established in 1988, Lighting Science Group Corporation maintains its corporate headquarters in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
