Description

Established in 1825 and headquartered in Ibstock, United Kingdom, Ibstock plc is a leading manufacturer and supplier of an extensive range of clay and concrete building materials and integrated solutions, primarily catering to the UK market. The company's core business involves producing essential clay items, such as various bricks and specialized brick components, alongside a comprehensive selection of concrete products. These concrete offerings include roof tiles, concrete alternatives for stone masonry, fencing systems, pre-stressed concrete elements, and specialized concrete solutions for rail infrastructure. Ibstock's diverse portfolio extends to architectural and structural components like facing and special bricks, walling stones, decorative masonry, facade systems, retaining walls, sills, arches, padstones, and cladding solutions. For roofing projects, they supply tiles, roof window systems, chimneys, soffits, and related accessories. Their range for outdoor and urban environments encompasses fencing, caps, copings, bollards, balustrades, path edgings, and other landscaping products. Additionally, the company provides critical structural concrete items such as floor beams, door steps, gully surrounds, screed rails, insulated floorings, and hollowcore products, as well as vital rail and infrastructure components like troughing, cable theft protection systems, boards, blocks, bases, catchpits, and inspection chambers. Beyond manufacturing, Ibstock plc offers a variety of specialized services. These include engraving, cutting, and bonding, comprehensive floor beam and block design, supply, and fitting services, the creation of bespoke concrete products, and support for staircase and lift shaft projects. These products and services are crucial for a wide array of construction applications, including new residential developments, essential repair, maintenance, and improvement (RMI) initiatives, and large-scale infrastructure undertakings. Ibstock distributes its offerings under well-known brands such as Forticrete, Supreme, Anderton, and Longley, serving a broad client base within the construction industry.
