Its primary asset is the operation of Vienna International Airport. The company's diverse activities are organized into five principal segments: Airport Operations, Ground Handling & Security Services, Retail & Real Estate, Malta Operations, and Other Services. The Airport Operations segment is responsible for the upkeep and functioning of airside areas, terminals, passenger and baggage handling systems, and security screening points. This division also provides crucial support services for airport functionality, emergency response, and overall security. The Ground Handling & Security Services segment delivers a comprehensive range of support for both commercial (scheduled and charter) and general aviation aircraft and their passengers. This includes managing the general aviation center and conducting security checks for travelers and their carry-on items. Through its Retail & Real Estate segment, the company offers various amenities that enhance the airport experience, such as shops, food and beverage outlets, VIP services, lounges, and parking facilities. This segment also engages in the development and commercialization of real estate properties. The Malta Operations segment specifically oversees the management of Malta International Airport, providing parking solutions and leasing retail and office space at that location. Finally, the Other Services segment covers a broad spectrum of activities, including technical support and repairs, energy provision, waste management, telecommunications, IT services, electromechanical and building maintenance, construction management, consulting, and the construction and upkeep of various infrastructure facilities. The company's headquarters are located in Schwechat, Austria.
