Description

Bausch + Lomb Corporation is a global leader in eye health, delivering a wide range of products and services across the world. Its business is divided into three key areas: Vision Care/Consumer Health Care, Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals, and Surgical. The Vision Care/Consumer Health Care sector offers an extensive selection of contact lenses, covering options from daily disposables to frequently replaced types, in addition to lens care solutions, non-prescription eye drops, and vitamin and mineral supplements designed to alleviate conditions such as eye allergies, conjunctivitis, and dry eye. Within the Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals division, the company develops and markets both proprietary and generic medications for post-operative recovery and the management of ophthalmic conditions like glaucoma, ocular hypertension, and retinal diseases, alongside therapeutic contact lenses. Finally, the Surgical segment equips medical professionals with advanced tools and technologies for cataract, vitreous, and retinal treatments, including intraocular lenses with their specialized delivery systems, phacoemulsification apparatus, and other essential surgical instruments. Founded in 1853, Bausch + Lomb's headquarters are situated in Vaughan, Canada.
