Carbios SAS, a pioneering French green chemistry company, is at the forefront of developing industrial bioprocesses for the biodegradation and biorecycling of various polymers. A fundamental objective is to transform plastic waste back into valuable, reusable plastic materials. Its innovative solutions are not limited to France but are also exported internationally. Notably, Carbios SAS maintains a crucial development agreement with Novozymes for the production of enzymes vital to recycling PET plastics and fibers. Established in 2011, Carbios SAS operates from its headquarters in Saint-Beauzire, France.
