Its comprehensive activities span the entire product lifecycle, from initial research, development, and design through manufacturing, sales, and post-sales servicing. The company operates extensively across key international markets, including Japan, China, North America, Europe, and the broader Asian continent. Its business structure is organized into two primary segments: Automotive Business, and Industrial, Infrastructure, and Internet of Things (IoT) Business. Renesas offers a vast and diverse portfolio of products. This includes advanced microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors, alongside sophisticated system-on-chips (SoCs). Their extensive range also features analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, such as amplifiers, data converters, and various radio frequency (RF) components like mixers and synthesizers. Power management solutions are a significant focus, encompassing battery management units, DC converters, linear regulators, MOSFETs, motor drivers, and wireless power technologies. For connectivity, they provide wireless modules, industrial Ethernet components, USB switches and hubs, and numerous interface ICs. Additionally, the company supplies precision timing and clocking devices, a wide selection of memory and logic products, and a comprehensive suite of sensors for environmental, flow, light, position, bio, and temperature applications, along with their crucial signal conditioning units.
