Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd. is a global company specializing in the manufacturing and sale of high-performance glass products and glassmaking machinery. Its operations span Japan, China, South Korea, the United States, and Europe, reaching a broad international market. The company's extensive product range includes glass substrates for flat panel displays (FPDs), chemically strengthened glass, glass fibers, and thin-film coatings. They also produce specialized glass components for optical and electronic devices. Additionally, Nippon Electric Glass supplies heat-resistant glass, various glass tubing for lighting, pharmaceutical, and medical applications, and glass materials for construction. Founded in 1944, Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd. maintains its headquarters in Otsu, Japan.
