Its diagnostic product lineup features the IgE NC kit, which measures overall IgE levels and identifies 57 specific allergens, as well as the DP3000 device for accurate allergen-specific IgE testing. The company's development pipeline includes NC-2400, a PPAR-delta agonist; NC-2500, a novel xanthine oxidoreductase inhibitor targeting hyperuricemia and gout; and NC-2600, a P2X4 receptor antagonist for neuropathic pain. Additionally, it is advancing NC-2700, a new urate transporter 1 inhibitor designed to enhance urinary urate excretion, and NC-2800, a delta opioid receptor agonist for treating depression and anxiety. Its commercialized pharmaceuticals comprise Uralyt-U (an alkalization therapeutic), Soleton (an analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication), and Calvan (a drug for hypertension). Beyond pharmaceuticals, Nippon Chemiphar offers a variety of quasi-drugs, nutritional supplements, health foods, cosmetics, and different types of creams. Its generic medications reach hospitals and pharmacies via wholesale distributors. Founded in Tokyo, Japan, in 1950, the company was initially known as Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd., changing its name to Nippon Chemiphar Co., Ltd. in 1970.
