The company also supplies cutting-edge electronic components like metal-compatible IC/NFC tags and a wide array of flexible ferrite sheets, designed for diverse uses including RFID, wireless power charging (WPC), digitizers, NFC antennas, and general noise suppression. Further offerings in this category include complex and standard noise suppression sheets for various applications, including electric wires and cables, multi-functional compounds, and wireless power charger coils for wearable technology. Furthermore, Toda Kogyo develops and provides battery materials such as lithium cobaltate, lithium-nickel oxide, and lithium manganate, critical for personal computers, mobile devices, hybrid vehicles, and industrial uses. Its electronic materials division extends to components for inductors and capacitors, magnetic recording materials for magnetic cards, and specialized magnetic materials for both general and cutting-edge applications. The firm is also a source of environmentally conscious and remediation materials. These include base materials for lead-free vinyl chloride stabilizers, anion catchers for different resins, compounds for dioxin reduction and functional applications (like crow-repellent garbage bags), as well as systems for ligneous biomass hydrogen production and CO2 reduction. Other significant product lines include various pigments for infrastructure, such as those for colored pavements, reflective pigments to mitigate urban heat island effects, non-lead pigments for road markings, and general pigments for coatings and resins. It also manufactures magnetic recording media for digital computer storage and broadcast video tapes, electromagnetic wave shielding solutions for display technologies, and catalysts for fuel cells. Established in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1823, the company boasts a long history of innovation.
