Description

Established in Tokyo, Japan, in 1943, Daio Paper Corporation functions as a global paper manufacturing enterprise. Its operations are organized into two primary divisions: Paper and Paperboard, and Home and Personal Care. The Paper and Paperboard segment is involved in the production, processing, and distribution of an extensive selection of paper, paperboard, pulp, and their derivatives, alongside general merchandise. This includes various specialized papers such as newsprint, publication, printing, communication, wrapping, recycled-content colored construction, and self-adhesive varieties. It also provides containerboard and corrugated packaging solutions, in addition to functional materials utilized across diverse sectors like food packaging, healthcare, construction, agriculture, and electronics. The Home and Personal Care division focuses on consumer products, offering items like facial and toilet tissues, disposable diapers, paper towels, sanitary napkins, kitchen and paper napkins, wet wipes, and a range of other specialized and processed household paper goods. Beyond these core activities, Daio Paper Corporation also manufactures and sells specialized films, adhesive sheets, and synthetic resin materials, including adhesives. The company's scope further encompasses the design, installation, procurement, and sale of industrial plants, as well as the trading of raw materials and fuel. Notably, it is also active in the burgeoning cellulose nanofiber industry.
