Established in 1949 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. operates as a global enterprise with a primary focus on paper manufacturing and a wide array of related businesses. The company's extensive product portfolio encompasses various paper types, including newsprint, printing, writing, and business communication papers, alongside a comprehensive range of household items such as facial and bath tissues, paper towels, wipes, personal care products like adult incontinence wear, and kitchen and wrapping papers. Beyond these, Nippon Paper provides diverse packaging solutions, from paperboards and paper packs to linerboard, corrugated mediums, and specialty converting papers, complemented by wet non-woven fabrics and advanced functional papers like its "wasa green" line. Their offerings also include manufacturing cartons, supplying filling machinery, and providing maintenance services. Furthermore, the company produces essential raw materials such as kraft and dissolving pulp, functional chemicals, coating resins, functional films, eco-friendly concrete admixtures utilizing fly ash, and cutting-edge cellulose nanofibers. Nippon Paper's broad operations extend to wood products, including logs, lumber, and building materials, as well as diversified ventures in the energy, agricultural, warehouse, transport, sports club, and leisure facility sectors.
