The company also provides advanced solutions such as gaming and esports platforms, enterprise servers, cloud and e-business services, cybersecurity, datacenter solutions, AI media, and digital signage. Acer is extensively involved in technological innovation, developing Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud technologies, the Internet of Beings, and specializing in system development and integration, alongside IT product repair and maintenance. Its diverse product and service portfolio extends to electronic information services, insurance captive solutions, intelligent transportation and electronic ticketing programs, and investment funds. The company also researches, develops, and sells batteries and smart bicycle speedometers, communication products, and computer software and hardware, including commercial and cloud application software. Furthermore, it operates platforms for client service and product sales and offers B2B virtual reality and advisory services. Beyond its primary tech focus, Acer engages in solar optronics, trades synthetic and natural rubber and plastic resins, acts as an agency for video game consoles, and provides hotel and property management services. It also maintains an esports platform, offers human resources and project services, and notably, delivers intelligent medical examination and data interpretation analysis, medical big data, and health management information services. Acer Incorporated was established in 1976 and is headquartered in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
