Description

Yip's Chemical Holdings Limited operates as an investment holding company, engaging in the manufacturing and worldwide distribution of petrochemical products across mainland China, Hong Kong, and other international regions. Its operations are organized into five distinct divisions: Solvents, Coatings, Inks, Lubricants, and Properties. The Solvents segment is responsible for producing industrial organic solvents, including ethyl acetate, various butyl acetates, ethanol, and butyl acrylate, which are crucial components for industries such as coatings, tannery, pharmaceuticals, and adhesives. The Coatings segment offers a broad spectrum of architectural coatings, encompassing both interior and exterior wall paints, water-based emulsion, and wood finishes for residential use. It also manufactures industrial coatings tailored for furniture, plastic goods, and mechanical products, alongside providing alkyd, acrylic, UV, amino, and water-based resins, as well as PU hardeners. This segment's products are branded as Camel, Aquapro, and VIVA. The Inks segment specializes in producing plastic and paper printing inks essential for food, beverage, and gift packaging, as well as for general paper printing applications. The Lubricants segment provides an extensive array of automotive and industrial lubricants, such as engine oils, antifreezes, system coolants, brake fluids, greases, gear oils, automatic transmission fluids, hydraulic oils, turbine oils, and circulating oils, primarily under the Hercules brand. Additionally, it offers specialty lubricants under the Pacoil brand, serving diverse industries including metal processing, automotive, home appliances, electronics, steel, toys, power generation, textiles, and various other manufacturing sectors. The Properties segment is dedicated to property investment. Beyond these core business lines, the company also participates in the trading of coatings, solvents, resins, inks, lubricants, and sanitizing products. Furthermore, it offers treasury and car maintenance services, and generates and sells electricity. Founded in 1971 and previously known as Hang Cheung Hong, Yip's Chemical Holdings Limited maintains its corporate headquarters in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
