What's driving the index today?
Volatility & credit
The five readings that carry 45% of the index, each with its raw market level and the score the index gives it. The credit ratio is a price proxy that mixes duration with credit risk: in a rates selloff it leans optimistic even if spreads are widening.
Level and score
Raw levels reach back to April 2007; the 0-100 score exists since August 2013, when the index history starts.

Futures positioning (COT)
Who is positioned where in the futures markets covered by the weekly CFTC report. Macro context, on its own scale: these sectors are commodity and financial futures, not stock market sectors.
