ViewCast.com, Inc., also known as ViewCast Corporation, specializes in developing hardware and software solutions for the capture, management, and transmission of video over both IP and mobile networks. Its product lineup features the Osprey Video series of capture cards, engineered for video acquisition and streaming. Additionally, the company provides Niagara Streaming Systems and Software, which are pre-configured, plug-and-play solutions enabling users to encode and stream audio and video across the internet or internal corporate networks. ViewCast.com also offers professional services and support, alongside distributing complementary products and technologies from external providers. The company serves a broad array of markets, including broadcasters, content delivery networks, and narrowcasters. Its client base spans federal, state, and local governments; small, medium, and large enterprises; mobile and cable service providers; and organizations in education and training, retail, and consumer package goods. Furthermore, ViewCast.com caters to digital signage integrators and various other industry verticals such as advertising, medical, and insurance. Products and services are sold globally, both directly to end-users and through indirect channels. These indirect partners include original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, and computer system integrators. Founded in 1994 as MultiMedia Access Corporation, the company changed its name to ViewCast.com, Inc. in April 1999 and maintains its headquarters in Plano, Texas.
