Description

Lithium Americas Corporation is a resource exploration firm with operations spanning both the United States and Argentina, primarily focused on discovering and developing lithium deposits. The company holds significant stakes in several key lithium ventures, including the Cauchari-Olaroz project in Argentina's Jujuy province, the Thacker Pass project situated in northwestern Nevada, and the Pastos Grandes project found in Argentina's Salta province. Prior to March 2016, the entity was known as Western Lithium USA Corporation before adopting its current moniker, Lithium Americas Corp. Established in 2007, the company maintains its corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Canada.
