Furthermore, Fireweed holds an exclusive option to acquire full ownership of the Mactung Tungsten project, an expansive 37.6-square-kilometer site spanning parts of both Yukon and the Northwest Territories. Established in 2015, the company underwent a name change from Fireweed Zinc Ltd. to its current designation, Fireweed Metals Corp., in June 2022. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Vancouver, Canada.
