Description

Foraco International S.A., through its global subsidiaries, provides comprehensive drilling services. The company's activities are divided into two main segments: Mining and Water. In the mining and energy sectors, Foraco offers drilling expertise for exploration, development, and production stages, including specialized underground water drilling. Within the water segment, it drills essential wells for drinking, agricultural irrigation, industrial use, and dewatering. Its project scope also covers community water programs, precise mineral water drilling adhering to sanitary standards, and setting up large-scale well fields for urban residential supply. Additionally, Foraco provides inspection, maintenance, and rehabilitation services for existing wells. As of December 31, 2021, the company's substantial equipment fleet consisted of 302 drill rigs, specifically 62 rotary rigs, 190 core diamond rigs, 18 combination rigs, and 32 underground rigs. Foraco serves a varied clientele, including mining corporations, governmental bodies, and international development organizations. The company was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Marseille, France.
