Description

Engineers India Limited (EIL) functions as a prominent engineering consultancy, delivering a complete range of services from conceptual design and detailed engineering to procurement, construction, and integrated project management. The company primarily caters to the oil and gas, and petrochemical industries, executing projects both within India and globally. EIL's business is structured into two main divisions: Consultancy & Engineering Projects and Turnkey Projects. Beyond its core engineering prowess, the firm offers comprehensive supply chain management, encompassing vendor registration and revalidation, meticulous contracting and purchasing of goods and services, expediting deliveries, quality inspection, logistics coordination, and performance assessment for suppliers and contractors. The company also focuses on innovation, developing proprietary process technologies for applications in petroleum refining, oil and gas processing, and aromatics production. Its construction services cover the entire project spectrum, from initial pre-construction planning—including bid management and detailed plot plan/heavy lift studies—to on-site execution. This involves robust site management, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, overseeing construction quality and warehouse operations, implementing rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management, administering contracts, aiding in pre-commissioning and commissioning, and finally, managing site closure. Moreover, EIL provides specialized technical services such as the design of heat and mass transfer equipment, environmental engineering solutions, expert advice on materials and maintenance, and optimizing plant operations and safety. It also undertakes crucial early-stage engineering studies, including Pre-FEED and FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), for various processes within the hydrocarbon processing sector. Additional offerings include overall project management, independent third-party inspection and quality assurance, serving as an independent or lender's engineer, and delivering project appraisal and execution support. Engineers India Limited was established in 1965 and is headquartered in New Delhi, India.
