Description

Electra Limited, an Israeli-headquartered enterprise, conducts extensive construction and infrastructure operations both domestically and internationally. Its business spans five primary domains: construction projects within Israel, international construction and infrastructure endeavors, comprehensive operation and maintenance services, entrepreneurial real estate development, and concession arrangements. The company's construction expertise includes the installation of diverse electro-mechanical systems for buildings, elevators, escalators, and power generators. It also delivers electrical infrastructure solutions, from high-voltage power lines to low-voltage building supplies, and undertakes mechanical air-conditioning work across various sectors like transportation and commercial developments. Electra additionally trades in electro-mechanical equipment. Beyond construction, Electra provides a wide array of services. This encompasses maintenance for elevators, escalators, wheelchair lifts, electro-mechanical systems, fire safety solutions, and generators. They also offer facility management, encompassing cleaning, security, shuttle services, academic institution support, and technological solutions. Furthermore, the company supplies mobile lighting and air conditioning units, operates a COVID-19 testing laboratory, and manages sewage treatment facilities. In real estate, Electra is active in developing and constructing properties. Through its concessions segment, it takes on complex, end-to-end turnkey projects, including development, financing, management, and oversight for large-scale initiatives in areas like construction, transportation, desalination, water, renewable energy, and major public infrastructure. Established in 1945, and formerly known as Electra (Israel) Ltd. until its rebranding in January 2003, Electra Limited is a subsidiary of Elco Ltd. and is based in Ramat Gan, Israel.
