Description

CCL Industries Inc. is a leading global company specializing in the production of labels and the provision of media and software solutions. Its operations are organized into four distinct segments: CCL, Avery, Checkpoint, and Innovia. The CCL segment manufactures pressure-sensitive and extruded film materials applied in decorative, instructional, security, and functional contexts across various markets, including consumer packaging, healthcare, chemicals, consumer durables, electronic devices, and automotive. This division also supplies a diverse array of additional products, such as extruded and labeled plastic tubes, aluminum aerosols, specialty bottles, folded instructional leaflets, precision decorated and die-cut components, electronic displays, and polymer banknote substrates. Avery focuses on printable media products like address and shipping labels, marketing and product identification labels, indexes, dividers, business cards, and name badges, often complemented by bespoke software solutions. The segment also offers organizational items such as binders, sheet protectors, and writing instruments. Furthermore, Avery provides direct-to-consumer digitally imaged media products, including labels, business cards, and family identification labels, supported by dedicated web-enabled e-commerce platforms. Checkpoint delivers advanced, technology-driven solutions for loss prevention, inventory management, and labeling, utilizing radio frequency (RF) and radio-frequency identification (RFID) technologies. These solutions primarily serve the retail and apparel industries. Innovia produces specialized, high-performance, multi-layer, and surface-engineered biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films. These films are integral to pressure-sensitive label materials, flexible packaging, and the consumer packaged goods sectors. Founded in 1951 and based in Toronto, Canada, CCL Industries Inc. boasts an extensive global footprint, operating across Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
